Meet the Artists
Tim Andersson (Poe) has appeared with R5 as Darius Benn in The Broken Hollow Banshee, Lyman Wyeth in Other Desert Cities, Vincent Price in Priceless, and several roles in the iconic War of the Worlds. Director Nancy Ridgeway previously collaborated with Andersson in his role as Dodge in Buried Child, Charlie in August: Osage County, and Mike in Good People. Other performances for Andersson include Willy Loman in Miller’s Death of a Salesman for which he received a best actor nomination, Gooper in Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, Matthew in Anne of Green Gables, LeDuc in Incident At Vichy, Nick in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolff, and Bluntschli in Arms and the Man. His recent film work includes playing the tech magnate T.B. Henderson in New York City-based web series New Gold. Andersson holds an Acting MFA from Rutgers’ Mason Gross School of the Arts.
John Neuman (Player 2: Fortunato, Rob, Roderick Usher, Husband, Old Man) is excited to join R5 for this spooky production! When he is not teaching English in Philadelphia, John can be found directing at Town and Country Players in Buckingham. Recent productions include The Hunchback of Notre Dame and The Sound of Music. All my love to Abby, August, and Clementine.
Tehilla Newman (The Cat) is a former Chicago based actor who recently relocated to the Philly area. In Chicago, some favorite roles were Helga in DEATHTRAP at Citadel Theatre, Brenda in BRENDA at Three Bros Theatre and Helen in PRIME REAL ESTATE at the Artistic Home. Tehilla also loved being the understudy as Bunny in THE HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES at the Raven Theatre. Tehilla is currently working on the show SWEAT as Tracey for Stockton University. She is excited to be doing her first radio play with the lovely folks at R5 productions.
Nancy Vander Zwan (Player 3: Taylor, Deb, Lady Madeline Usher, Wife, Miss Delores Terious, and Receptionist) was last seen with R5 as Gladys Crenshaw in The Broken Hollow Banshee. She has appeared in productions at various community theaters in Bucks and Montgomery counties, including Incorruptible and Hound of the Baskervilles at Village Players of Hatboro, To Kill a Mockingbird at Bryn Athyn Community Players, and in Chris Canaan’s world premiere of Writer’s Block: An Absurd Play with Lofty Ambitions at Phillips Mill Theater. Twice, Nancy has performed at Manhattan Repertory Theater in one-act play productions, including Home Smarts by Bucks County playwright Rick Goodwin. Recently, Nancy appeared in a Zoom production of Sweat, produced for the 1,600 incoming freshmen at The College of New Jersey. She has performed in Town and Country Players’ holiday show, and she enjoys acting in plays written by members of the Playwrights Bridge group based in Doylestown. Nancy is an Accredited Home Stager and owns StagingCraft, LLC. She considers her daughter, Jillian, to be her finest production.
Michael Worden (Player 1: Montresor, Bob, Devin, Steak, Officer 1/2) You might remember Michael as the director of A Suitable Kind of Woman in our inaugural R5 Playhouse Series. Michael recently relocated from Los Angeles and has over 100 theatrical and film productions to his credit. Some of his directorial credits include Hay Fever, Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll, subUrbia and Drinking in America. As an actor, national touring credits include Into the Woods (Jack) and Footloose (Chuck). Other regional theatre credits include Anna Karenina (Stiva), The Baker’s Wife (Barnaby), Our Town (Joe Stoddard), One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (McMurphy), A Chorus Line (Al Deluca), A Streetcar Named Desire (Stanley Kowalski), Next to Normal (Dr. Fine/Madden), Company (Peter) and Crimes of the Heart (Barnett Lloyd). Commercially, Michael has appeared in national campaigns for Little Caesars, REI, Halo Top and PowerAde.
