Meet the Artists
Tim Andersson (Lyman Wyeth) last appeared as Vincent Price in R5 Productions’ world premiere of Priceless in September and several roles in the iconic War of the Worlds last month. Director extraordinaire Nancy Ridgeway previously collaborated with Andersson in his role as Dodge in Buried Child, Charlie in August: Osage County, and Mike in Good People. Other performances for Andersson include Willy Loman in Miller’s Death of a Salesman for which he received a best actor nomination, Gooper in Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, Matthew in Anne of Green Gables, LeDuc in Incident At Vichy, Nick in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolff, and Bluntschli in Arms and the Man. His recent film work includes playing the tech magnate T.B. Henderson in New York City-based web series New Gold. Andersson holds an Acting MFA from Rutgers’ Mason Gross School of the Arts.
Brian Jason Kelly (Orson Welles, Professor Richard Pierson) was last seen in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged and Next To Normal at Town and Country Players. Other T&C credits include: Lt. Kaffee in A Few Good Men and Steve Heidebrecht in August Osage County. Recent local credits include; Glenn Gary Glenn Ross, 42nd Street. Favorite local credits include Betrayal, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, and Mauritius. Professional credits include: Philadelphia work at Wilma Theater, Arden Theater, and Bristol Riverside Theater; in NY, Sonnet Theater Co, Inverse Theater, and NYMTF. Brian was nominated for a Philadelphia Barrymore Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical. TV credits include National Geographic docudrama Killing Lincoln. Brian studied theater with actor/director George DiCenzo and at the North Carolina School of the Arts. It's great to keep the arts going in these very unstable times, and he’s proud of this community for doing just that.
Jim McIntosh (Announcer #4) has been involved in the entertainment industry for over 30 years. After earning a B.A. in Theater from Rutgers University, he has worked both onstage and backstage as a performer, stage manager, light and sound technician, scenic carpenter, lighting designer, and sound designer. He has utilized his theatrical skills with Pineland Players, Six Flags Great Adventure, numerous Atlantic City casinos and resorts, Town & Country Players, and now R5 Productions. As an avid musician, Jim also enjoys playing and writing music. His work with R5 Productions has provided him with the opportunity to compose new music for three productions, so far. “Time Traveling,” an original composition for H.G. Wells’ The Time Machine, “A Priceless Journey,” an original composition for Rob Rosiello’s Priceless, and “The Arrival,” an original composition for H.G. Wells’ The War Of The Worlds. “The more you do, the more you learn, the more you grow.”
Nancy Ridgeway (Operator #1, Operator #5) is a seasoned director and producer of plays and musicals in and around Bucks County and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Drawn to intimate, intriguing writing, her credits at Old Academy Players include Buried Child (director), Honky Tonk Queen (director), Lips Together, Teeth Apart (producer), and A Song I Forgot to Sing (costume designer). Her directorial work at Town and Country Players includes Next to Normal, Other Desert Cities, A Few Good Men, August: Osage County, Good People, The Music Man, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Bye Bye Birdie, and Carousel.
Stephanie Rogers (Announcer #2, Announcer #3, Rooftop Announcer) is thrilled to be doing another virtual production during these strange times. Last seen & heard via YouTube in The Outsider, Stephanie was Weena in R5’s inaugural production, The Time Machine. Stephanie was last seen on stage as Masha in the Town & Country Players Production of Vanya, Sonia, Masha & Spike. Previous projects include The Laramie Project, Rumors, Boeing Boeing and God of Carnage. “Thank you to Nancy Ridgeway and this talented cast for including me! Chris Serpico (Mr. Wilmuth, VP of Operation McDonald, Lt. Voght, Observer) is excited to be joining this talented cast in re-introducing Orson Welles’ classic radio presentation of The War of the Worlds. Although this will mark the first time Chris has appeared in a “Pandemic Production”, he’s sampled so many over the past nine months, that he figured it was time to give it a go. You may remember him appearing in several T&C productions over the years, including the last three Holiday shows. The productions he’s most proud to have been a part of include: Hunchback of Notre Dame, Urinetown, Follies, It’s A Wonderful Life, Sondheim Songfest, Carousel, and Cinderella. “Love always to my wife Maureen for all her support. I dedicate this performance to my darling granddaughters Quinn and Maeve.”
Nancy Vander Zwan (The Stranger, Operator #2) was last heard as Lillian Gish & Polly Stimple in the world premiere of Priceless. Nancy has appeared in productions at various community theaters in Bucks and Montgomery counties, including Incorruptible and Hound of the Baskervilles at Village Players of Hatboro, To Kill a Mockingbird at Bryn Athyn Community Players, and in Chris Canaan’s world premiere of Writer’s Block: An Absurd Play with Lofty Ambitions at Phillips Mill Theater. Twice, Nancy has performed at Manhattan Repertory Theater in one-act play productions, including Home Smarts by Bucks County playwright Rick Goodwin. Recently, Nancy appeared in a Zoom production of Sweat, produced for the 1,600 incoming freshmen at The College of New Jersey. She has performed in Town and Country Players’ holiday show, and she enjoys acting in plays written by members of the Playwrights Bridge group based in Doylestown. Nancy is an Accredited Home Stager and owns StagingCraft, LLC. She considers her daughter, Jillian, to be her finest production.
Sheldon Bruce Zeff (Carl Phillips, General Montgomery Smith, Gunner, Operator #4) is extremely thrilled to be a part of The War of the Worlds and working with all these talented performers. He most recently appeared in R5 Productions’ presentation of The Time Machine and last month’s Priceless. He has spent over 45 years as a director, producer, actor, writer & designer with professional, semi-professional & local theatres throughout the region. A former member of Actors Equity Association and the Screen Actors Guild, Sheldon is the President and Executive Director of Zeff Entertainment, LLC. Favorite acting credits: Tevye (Fiddler on the Roof), Big Jule (Guys and Dolls), George Aaronow (Glengarry Glen Ross), Mr. Kraler (The Diary of Anne Frank), Kris Kringle (Miracle on 34th Street), and Sheriff Schmid (Bonnie and Clyde).
